Hello everyone, hope you all are doing well. This is my very first post of this year and so I am very excited to begin this new year writing about one of my favorite mascaras of all time. And yes, the mascara which I am talking about is from none other than the celebrated brand named Maybelline. So, once upon a time I was searching for a good mascara. Back then I didn't now anything about make up but yes, I was very fond of highlighting my eyes. And thus began my quest for a decent mascara. So after hunting a lot, I bought the Maybelline The Hypercurl Volum' Express Waterproof Mascara.

Packaging: This mascara comes in a fat chubby wrapping with a metallic cap. The Packaging is quite sturdy and thus travel friendly.

Applicator: The applicator wand is slightly curved, which makes the application much easier. The bristles are even and very dense. However, the applicator wand is not flexible which is a bit disappointing.

Shade: This mascara has a nice deep charcoal black shade. It gives a nice definition to the lashes and makes them look naturally thicker.
Formula: The formula of this mascara is like that of a mousse. Not too runny, not too cakey. This mascara dries up very quickly and thus you have to work very fast with it. This mascara is waterproof as it claims to be.

My Experience: As I said earlier, I am fond of highlighting my eyes and Maybelline The Hypercurl Volum' Express Waterproof Mascara does a decent job by coating my eyelashes nicely. I am cursed with myopia and so I use contact lens, which sometimes causes major problem. If by any means my lens comes in contact with the mascara during application, my whole eye makeup gets ruined. So I have to play safe during the application. Now I sometimes don't like using my curler to curl my lashes and at this point of time the Maybelline The Hypercurl Volum' Express Waterproof Mascara comes for rescue. It's actually a game changer. It not only adds volume to the eye lashes but also curls them(as the name suggests).

Now let me tell you that usually waterproof mascaras are a bit drying and they don't tend to get removed very easily. So I prefer an oil based makeup remover over a cream based remover. If you don't have an oil based remover, you can simply use coconut oil to remove any sort of makeup.

My eyes look bigger and brighter after applying just one coat of this mascara. It stays for good 6 to 7 hours with no tough ups. This is the very first mascara which I had purchased a long time back but still love using it for its pigmentation and lash curling property.

Pros:

Cons:
Final Verdict: I do love this mascara from the core of my heart due to its staying power and pigmentation of course. I would definitely repurchase this mascara once I finish using this one,
